Skokie, IL. (July 18,
2003) — Tecta America Corp. today announced the improvement of training their
national divisions on CNN Headline News.
Tecta America, a national
roofing company with 28 operations around the country and 1700 employees,
recently launched the TectaTracker, a web-based roof asset management program.
The training process of the division employees was key to the successful launch
of the TectaTracker, Jamie Hoffman, Tecta America’s Marketing Manager, told
CNN.
When it’s critical to stay
in touch and with travel costs up, working and training all of the division
employees can be a challenge for a national company. In order to keep costs down
but still conduct business, Tecta America trains its employees on a weekly
web-based conference meeting.
Hoffman said, “In addition
to training our employees, we’ve also been able to demonstrate our online
capabilities to our customers via the web without needing to travel as often.
This way we are saving our customers time and money along with the additional
costs savings by not traveling as frequently.”
