GOLDEN, Colo. (May 14, 2001) — Tecta America Corp. today announced the
selection of Mark F. Santacrose to president, succeeding Donald G. McNamara who
moves to the position of vice chairman.
The board’s selection of Santacrose reflects the company’s strong commitment
to continue to provide high quality roofing services to clients nationwide
through his strong leadership, financial and strategic planning skills.
Prior to joining Tecta America, Santacrose was the chief executive officer
and president of Entrade, an e-commerce business incubator that identified and
created new e-commerce joint venture businesses, using Entrade proprietary
software. He also was the president of Bagcraft Corporation, a leading
manufacturer of flexible packaging products, where he improved earnings from $5
million to $16 million. In addition, he practiced law for seven years with a
concentration on mergers, acquisitions and finance.
Santacrose will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of
Tecta America Corp. and its ten operating roofing companies. In addition, he
will provide the overall direction for new acquisitions, leadership and
organizational development programs, financial management and development of
operating practices to ensure consistent delivery of roofing services
nationwide.
He graduated from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisc. with a degree in
accounting and later earned a master’s degree in business administration from
Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business, Chicago. He also received
a law degree from Loyola University, Chicago.
