Skokie, IL. June 2007-Tecta America Corp., America's largest commercial roofing company, named Mark A. Gaulin Chief Operating Officer. Gaulin is one of the original founders of Tecta America, and is a member of the Tecta Board of Directors. In his new role, Gaulin will continue to focus his leadership on green roofing, solar initiatives and sustainable construction practices, as well as driving best practices throughout the operations of the 26 Tecta America companies nationwide.
Currently, Gaulin is president of Magco, Inc., a Tecta America company located in Jessup, MD, where, in addition to spearheading the green roof movement, he managed the company's performance and field operations.
Regarding Gaulin's appointment, Mark Santacrose, President and CEO of Tecta America, said, "Mark has led the growth and reputation that Magco Inc. is known for in the roofing industry. He is a leader in the Tecta family, and we are pleased and excited that Mark will be leading this new role within Tecta America."
Gaulin's professional associations include President of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), chairperson of the Architectural Metal Committee for the NRCA, and former President of the Associated Roofing Contractor's of Maryland (ARCOM).
